Club played Leverkussen today and won 2-1. 2 goals by Vadis Odjija. Club opens the competition on 31 July at home against Westerlo.

Now we're in Calais, driving on to Normandy tomorrow.

Nice, my friend send me an sms with the result. 2-2 away at FCK is not bad. Let's hope for the best against Panathinaikos. When is the game?

OB vs Panathinaikos is wednesday at 20:00 hours

The match will be televised by DR1 aka. Danmarks Radio 1, which will probably keep a bunch a people at home chained to their couch, as the DR1 is a non-pay pr view channel, and this combined with rain, will most likely nullify the fact, that OB is selling tickets at a quite reasonable price - 160kr for adults (21 euro).

And yes, 2-2 in Copenhagen is ok, especially as it's been a long time since we picked up any points there. We made some dumb mistakes, which resulted in both FCK's goals. If we fix these blunders and Djemba-Djemba, Traoré etc. is availiable, then I think we're ok - as in we might not win, but PAO wont roll right over us and win big time

I have no expectations to see OB in the Group Stage, but we might be able to defeat PAO over two matches, and this way secure a big money match in the Play Off-round as well as be surden to take part in the Europa League Group Stage.

I can live with loosing to PAO with a goal or two, all in all, as long as we are still able to qualify for the EL Groups the hard way.

Zimling gets responcebility in Club Brugge

Niki Zimling has settled in well at belgian Club Brugge, where he has already been given more responcebility on the pitch.

After a year on loan at NEC Nijmegen, Zimling transferred to Club Brugge earlier this summer, on a four year contract. Han is one of many new players at the well renowned club, but his integration has been better then expected.

- I have settled in well down here. We're ten new players that needs to get integrated into the team, which have been quite a task, but being so many newcommers has actually made it a lot easier for all of us.

- Both new and old players are ready for the challenge, and we all know, that Club Brugge needs to do better this season, then they did last year, and having this shared ambition, has made it fairly easy to come together as a team.

Zinling has gotten his fair share of minutes on the pitch in the clubs pre-season matches, and has recieved praises for his performances against Roda and Bayern Leverkusen.

- We play a lot like the Dutch, as in we like to have the ball at our feet. Our coach wants us to dominat all the way through the a match, which suits me just fine.

- I have done well in the pre-season so far, and has been given more and more responcebility on the pitch, qhich is great for me personally. I no longer have worry about the future, as I have signed a new contract, and are looking forward to some great seasons with Club.

Zimling and Clubs first serious task awaits thursday evening, as FK Karabach visits Brugge in the Europa League-qualifier.

That's nice. Is there more atmosphere in the stadium if there are more fans? Or is it, like in Bruges, only the 'younger' part that makes the atmosphere?

It depends - we have a "hard core" area for people who wants to sing, cheer and dance, but when we play UEFA-matches, the tickets have numbered seats assigned, which sometimes leads to Mr and Mrs Denmark getting kinda lost in the midst of the chaos, which doesnt them expecially happe, nor the active fans.

My personal opinion, is that a full stadium adds to the atmosphere, even if they arent active. We need to influence the younger crowd to become active fans, and not just seated consumers, clapping and drinking coffee - but first, we need to have them at the stadium

Well yeah. With all due respect but if FCB can't beat a team like Qarabag, they shouldn't play in Europe. This shoud be an easy return.

As I thought, Panathinaikos won't be easy, such a sham. Let's hope for a good result in Athens. Ans believe me, it was better to draw Standard! You'd surely pass on...

Well, without commin' off as a whiner, I would think that the refereee was on our side, as we picked up some doubtable yellow cards, and he let the greeks throw themselves a bit to much. We had our fair part of chances to score, but wasn't cybical enough to put them in, when we had the chance. Match could easily have ended 4-2, so all in all, we can still qualify, but drawing 1-1 giving PAO an awaygoal, was unlucky - talk of the town, is that, newly transferred in, Tore Reginiussen, was fouled and hence not able to clear the ball, but letting the ball pass to PAO just before they scored.

Some ref's would have called it, others wouldn't - and the ref in questin didn't
