OB is changing the layout and setup of OB.dk. New look, new features and a new thing called "Club OB", which you have to be a member of, if you want to continue to use the forum.

You have to make a profile, and give your adress and name to them. Club OB is for free, Club OB+ cost 299 a year. That gives free tickets for four games and various discounts. Probably not something for you, as you don't live in DK.

Linkert, what are the derbys between Cercle and Club Brugge like? High tension?

Is there a proper hate between the clubs fans or is it a more relaxed rivalry?

Does the Cercle and Club fans come from the same parts of the town in general?

And finally, are there examples of players moving straight from one of the clubs to the other? And how is that received by the fans?

Well, it's always high tension those matches. But not in an aggressive rivalry way. The hate between the supporters is the biggest among the fans who live in Bruges itself. Outside Bruges you don't really feel that hate as much.
I can't immediate remember players of Cercle moving to Club, but the other way around I can. Those are the old players who aren't good enough for the top or youngsters that don't get a positive rapport in Club. Mostly Club fans laugh their ass out if a player leaves to Cercle.

OK, thanks. Always interesting to hear about local derbies, especially one of the lesser known ones (for non-Belgians).

    Re: Random chit chat

So went to the Pukkelpop festival last week. It was the 25th edition. On Thursday I was really wasted (by the Grimbergen beer). I only saw Blink 182 and (a part of) Placebo, but with Placebo I was really wasted. Between I went to a café nearby to follow Club Brugge - Dinamo Minsk, and it got a bit late so I was late for Placebo. Didn't see any other band that day (and there were a lot, on every day).
On Friday beer didn't get as fast to me as the day before. I saw Eels (decent to good), Limp Bizkit (F*ing great), The Prodigy (good) and Snow Patrol (very good).
On Saturday I saw Ash (good), Selah Sue (good), Gogol Bordello (good), Serj Tankian (crap), The National (not good), Queens of the Stone Age (not my thing so not good) and Jónsi (the best I've seen).

I also burned very hard from the sun, my sunglasses were burnt in my face :-)

It's every year the same. I never put on anti sun burn. But it doesn't hurt anymore. Getting immune for it I gues :D

It's matter of taste. I think that 2 minutes of U2 is more than enoughBig Smile

(I like their old albums, though. Boy, War, Achtung baby and Under a blood red sky are all very fine records.)

I saw them live at Parken on their "Pop" tour i 99-00. It was very good. Nowadays I get pissed off every time Bono starts his "save-the-world" routine.

I can understand that. But it's just a little sacrifice for attending the best show in the world ever. And Wednesday and yesterday it was very minimal. This was just the best thing I ever witnessed. Saw them in '97 and 2005, but this was... the biggest, the best, better than the rest...

Just a question for you, Linkert.

I don't know how many games from the Superliga you've seen, but how high is the standard in the belgian league compared to the danish league from your point of view? I know the belgian league in the 90's was really great, but it's a long time since we've last seen any big european results - isn't that right?

Well, I don't know really for sure. I guess it's about equal with a light advance for Belgium, although I'm not very sure about it as I didn't see that many games.
Guess in one on ones between the Danish and Belgian teams, both can win. The time Belgian teams were 'superb' to Danish is over I guess.

I was just wandering through the 'OB -Getafe' topic and regularly saw the word 'slet'. What does it mean?
In Belgium it means as much as 'slut' :D
