OB Online's debatforum

According to danish TV-channel TV2, we have finally finished the negotiations for danish offensive talent Bashkim Kadrii. He will be joining us from the 2. division team B93, who are famous in Denmark for their exellent youth program.

OB has had an interest in Kadrii for more than a year now, but for a long time it looked as though we wouldn't be successfull in signing him. Dortmund was apparently quite interested as well, but eventually they wouldn't pay what B93 demanded.

He is considered one of the biggest talents in danish football, and I am very much looking forward to seeing him in the blue/white stribes.

Club Brugge have today announced a 3rd incoming transfer. Wilfried Dalmat signed for 3 years. He comes from Standard (where he formed the right flank with earlier signing Marcos and won 1 Belgian title).

He's a fast right winger. He'll play with number 6 :-)
He's French and is almost 28 years old.

Sounds like you replaced your entire right flank?

Well, the right back position wasn't really filled last 4-5 years. The last decent right back we had was Brian Priske. After him it were mostly youngsters who played there, so now we really have a good offensive right back.
On the right wing we have a player, but a bit of competition is good off course :-)
Marcos and Dalmat were a succesfull right flank in the champions team of Standard Liège 2 years ago, let's hope they repeat that in Bruges. It's been waaaaaaaaaaaaay to long we won the Belgian title.

Eric Djemba-Djemba was rumored to West Bromwich Albions, and he also went over there to negotiat a contract... but in the finale hour the deal was turned down.

The rumours goes that WBA didn't want to pay a suffient transfer, but theres also rumours that Djemba-Djemba has a problem with one of his knees, and that WBA, was unsure about how serious his problems is.

The transfer prize was believed to be between 12-20 mio. dk. kr. (or between 1.8-2.8 mio euros).

there are still some talking about Djemba leaving OB in this transfer window, but right now, there is no bids... so for now we are hoping, that he stays:-)

Completely understood here! D'you hope he leaves? He used to be a good player I think? How about the Randers game? Just saw the result, wasn't able to follow the match as the wifi here is very slow...

The Randers game was crap! We were lucky to come away with one point. They had four shots on the posts.

We played Hans Henrik Andreasen in defensive midt, and he was horrible. The best thing about DD staying, is that at least he will play that position. HHA can only play box-to-box offensive midt, and only adequately at best. At least he scores some goals from that position.

DD has been out most of the spring season with a knee injury. He's out of shape, but when he's in shape, he's one of the best midfielders in the league. A lot of us here will be sorry to see him go, but apparently we need the money from his sale (and the money saved on his salery) for the one or two players we need for the defence.

OBs finances are a bit rocky, we came out of 2009 with a 10 mil dkr deficit. (Which is more than it sounds, considering the money we've made on transfers the last couple of seasons)

I have great doubts about Djembas condition:-/ I'm really afraid, that he will never come back to his former performance level... I believe that OB should be able to compete without Djemba, with the signings we made this season. So I think that it would be nice for the clubs finanaciel situation to make a decent transfer with him. He's also an expensive player regarding his salary, and I do believe, that it would open up some opportunities regarding new signings... But on the other hand, if he can find his former perfomance level, he will be a great asset for the team and the possibilities for the league title and the euro league.

but all in all I think a transfer would be the best in the long run...

Today Club Brugge is playing their first match of the competition away at KV Kortrijk. Score at the moment is 0-0. But now I'm off to a party. With my mp3 radio off course :-)
