In OB-news: Peter Utaka is negotiating personal terms with chinese team Dalian Aerbin, after the club has accepted an offer for him.He has just six months left of his contract, so a sale would be fine. We have hired Erik Larsen, who is a scout, and who used to be Michael Laudrups employee in Brøndby, Getafe, Spartak and Mallorca. We are apparently looking for a goalkeeper and a left back, and with the departure of Utaka, and of Fall whos lease is up, we must be looking for a striker as well.
I was only 1,5 million for Bacca :-) Do those Chinese guys pay big money? :-) Does Fall leave now already? Or at the end of the season?

Fall left after the last games in december. He was only on loan from russia. His contract with the russians runs out in february, so anyone who wants to buy him have to pay some money for him. Our sporting director, Poul Hansen, has allready said that we are not signing Fall. The chinese pay (rumored) a little over half a million euros for Utaka. Not bad, considering his contract only runs for five more months.

So, a little OB-update. We have sold Peter Utaka to Dalan Aerbin in China for four million kroner. And we have bought a new goalkeeper. 33-year old Jesper Christiansen. We payed (allegedly) a little under three million kr. for him, and he has himself payed two million kr. to his old club to get out of his contract. Jesper C has sparked some controversy amongst us fans (two debates, with each 15+ sides so far), because he played the most succesfull part of his career for our rivals FC København, with whom he won three championships. He has a lion tatooed on his upper arm, to remind him of his time there (and because his two kids are leos), and a lot of people are not too happy about getting a (possible) FCK-fan as their keeper. He is a good keeper though, although he is a bit injury-prone. (Four injuries in to years in Elsfborg IF, where we bought him.

Always a nasty situation to buy a player from the enemy. But no other choice than to support him I think, I know I would, unless he really is an icon of the enemy.

Chuck: Onkel forgot to mention, that JC started his pro career here in Odense and OB, and that we sold him to Rangers for a record fee 
Shame on you Onkel :-) I really hope he does well for OB. Club Brugge play KV Mechelen at home tonight at 20h00. We're leaving at 15h00 for a 1h30 drive so we can have a 'drink in' with my buddy who got single after about 14 years last month.

Hmmm, there's a memorial in Ansgar Anlæg at Søndre Boulevard, at which old fredomfighters (Those still alive ) turn up every 4th or 5th of May, to honor their fallen comrades. May 5th I had an the old Lancaster-bomber, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, do two or three flybys only 150 meters above me (No, I didnt order it or pay for it, it was to circle Assistenskirkegården here in Odense (Close to Ansgar Anlæg) and then go on to Svendborg and circle their cemeteries).

Holy crap that's f**king awesome! There's only 1 Lancaster left from the World War that can fly. Here in Linkhout we are Lancaster-addicts, because on 21 February 1945 a Lancaster was shot above our village, and crashed down here. Only the pilot survived, his comrades all died in the crash. A monument was inaugurated in which the landing gear was built. For years it stood on private ground and no one took care of it, but in September 2011 we renovated the whole monument with our new group of World War visitors. Check: http://www.warvisitorslinkhout.be. And on May 24th, that pilot, Alex Jenkins from Australia, is coming over to visit the monument and the church in Linkhout he tried to hide in. We're very honoured with his visit and I'm very anxious to meet him, gonna be a memorable moment when I pick him up at Brussel central station. If allowed, can I send your picture to my fellow comrades of our group?
