Well, a good performance in Spain is always good fo confidence I think. We did it too last year in the 1/16th final, beat Valencia 1-0 at home, and they cracked us only after relegations, 3-0 (f**king Villa).

Next match against Stuttgart, I should be able to watch, as Club Brugge plays at 21:05 o clock. But if it's shown on tv (Club), I can put the internet match of OB on too :-) Would be harder to concentrate though :p

3-1 in Silkeborg :( Didn't see any of it, how was it?

Club Brugge won today easily with 0-5 in Charleroi. Played a very good game and a deserved (and necessary) victory. Let's hope they left for a good series of results now.

In one word: Catastrophic. No tactics, no fight, no good players on our team. This will be a season for reconstruction. There was no will for winning or fight from 8 out of ten players today. "Depressing" could be another word.

It sounds a bit like Bruges over the past 5 years. In the last 5 years we regularly had to sweep out the black sheeps, they formed groups and sabotaged each other. Just like little children. Very painful to hear those stories. I really hope it's better now, although there still are rumours this still happens (though there are just 1 or 2 players left from that period).

Let's hope OB can turn around too. Is there coming a new coach? Any names known yet?

Nope. Nothing new. I would be surprised if we got a new coach before the winter break. I will keep you updated, if anything happens.

Club Brugge played Eupen on Wednesday. They have 2 points so far and built a big wall in Bruges. The match ended with 78% ball possession for Bruges, can you imagine? Club won 4-0 but had it though to break through. Eupen ended with 9 men too.
Today the Eupen-coach left the club. He was there for only 19 days :-)

One match that good, the other not... Sunday Bruges were leading 0-1 at Germinal Beerschot Antwerpen, played a good 1st half, but in the second half they thought the 3 points were ours, but GBA turned things around and won 2-1. Club Bruges had 13 points out of 27, just not enough. Thursday we play in Villareal, and it's gonna be though again.

I saw most of the 2nd half of OB yesterday. Weren't that bad. Deserved victory said the commentator :-)

Brugge lost 2-1 in Villareal last night. After 30 minutes Vargas got a very light red card for an elbow. Some time later, Blondel (our bad boy) took revenge on the player who screwed Vargas and only received yellow (this deserved to be red). Just before half time Villareal score 1-0, but few seconds later Ryan Donk equalises for Club. 10 minutes after the break Villareal scores 2-1 but Club can't score anymore. The best to get out of this match I guess as we played for an hour with 10 and the substitute goalie (our 1st is injured) got injured too in the match.

I did'nt see the match live as I was attending a Guns N' Roses concert in Antwerp. Absolutely splendid!!! But not as good as both U2 gigs last week :-)

Club Brugge won 3-2 against AA Gent today. After 30 minutes of superb play Club led 3-0. Then they collapsed and it was 3-1 at half time. Hoefkens missed a penalty for 4-1 and Gent came back to 3-2. None of the teams could score in the rest of the game.

A win is a win. We were beaten by Stuttgart thursday, and it was not undeserved. We fell back to some of the mistakes we had during the Lars Olsen-era, and it was a bit depressing to see that. The fight was all right though. Tomorrow we meet AAB, who are in their biggest crisis in years, and the game should bring three points. One minimum, anyway.

Good to see Brugge getting some points.
